ARIS LUPO

The patented filter system ARIS LUPO was specially designed for rainwater harvesting systems. Dirt remains trapped on the stainless-steel filter grid, which is never submerged. This prevents leaching of nutrients etc. from the debris into the rainwater storage volume. The highly efficient filtration principle enables optimal water quality while achieving a collection yield coefficient of 99%. The filter is also low maintenance, as it self-cleans to a high degree by its design, especially during short, heavy bouts of rain. Inlet and overflow are arranged with only a minimal level drop, thus enabling the filter to also be retrofitted to existing systems.
The patented «air cushion» function automatically shuts off the vertical inlets to the storage volume underneath when the tank level is high. The LUPO filter then automatically drains at the inlet/overflow level, reducing the need for pumped lifting stations to drain water overflowing from the storage tank (typically at the basement level). Through a unique patented siphonic effect, the LUPO filter achieves this without additional electrical or mechanical equipment needed.
