ARIS PiRANHA

ARIS PiRANHA is a complete supply system for various non-potable water applications from an underground storage tank. The pressurisation consists of submersible pumps integrated in the storage volume, and a switching cabinet with adjustable parameters and demand-based activation of the integrated pumps. All control and system management tasks are performed by the control unit, which is placed inside a plant room our outside in a bespoke housing. The unit is programmed to perform a regular self-test, not only checking electrical connections but also briefly activating the pumps and pumping water in a loop, to guarantee functionality. Warnings and errors can be relayed remotely to facility managers or other nominated personnel, ensuring that critical infrastructure e.g. for firefighting is always operable and necessary maintenance can occur outside of emergency situations. Applications can vary among the following options:

• Firefighting water supply (wall, above-ground, or underground hydrants)
• Rainwater harvesting: irrigation systems, outdoor taps/spigots
• Industrial non-potable water supply: cooling systems, car wash etc.
